The GET team developed innovative technologies for high level expression of glycosylated recombinant products in mammalian cells for research and industry. The core product catalog includes an extensive collection of mammalian and bacterial GlycoEnzymes (glycosyltransferases and glycoside hydrolases) and other recombinant glycoproteins. GET also provides capable custom glycoprotein production through the use of proprietary expression vectors and mammalian cell lines.

In July 2018, Glyco Expression Technologies, Inc., was established based on the innovative mammalian expression technology developed by the research group of Dr. Kelley Moremen at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center. The company will be part of the University of Georgia’s Innovations Gateway, which houses several biotechnology companies and is located close to the CCRC.
